Why even bother chasing someone who isn’t sure if they want to be with you or not? What’s the point in putting all your effort into someone who doesn’t know how great you can be, and how much you can love them if they just forgave you and let you make up for your mistakes? You can only chase someone so much before you need to let them go. It’s not giving up. It’s knowing you deserve better, no matter how much they mean to you. It took me a really bad divorce to find out that people aren’t always what you see them to be. The next time someone tells you that they aren’t good for you, listen to them because they’re probably telling the truth.
There needs to be a bar or club or something that when you walk in there’s a rack of different color wristbands with words like “I looking for-“
- no one
So that everyone would know who’s looking for who.
"Hey that girl is cute. And her wristband says she’s also looking for a girl. Sweet!”
"He’s cute, but his wristband says girls. Oh well."
you are the future
People always say that it hurts at night and apparently screaming into your pillow at 3am is the romantic equivalent of being heartbroken. But sometimes it’s 9am on a Tuesday morning and you’re standing at the kitchen bench waiting for the toast to pop up. And the smell of dusty sunlight and earl gray tea makes you miss him so much you don’t know what to do with your hands.
